Dr. José Manuel Núñez Medina (Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences · SNII Level I)
Directs day-to-day academic operations of the Actuarial Science program across on-campus and online programs, oversees faculty assignments, supports students, and connects the program with external professional bodies.

Actuarial Faculty Academy
Collegiate body composed of professors and researchers teaching within the undergraduate program. Designs and updates course syllabi, coordinates departmental assessments, and fosters applied research.

Institutional Tutoring Program Coordination (PIT)

Online Program & Virtual Classrooms Coordination
Manages pedagogical and technical operations on the institutional Moodle UAZ platform (ecursos.reduaz.mx), supporting distance learning students and providing digital platform training.

Degree Completion, Social Service & Professional Internship Committee
Academic committee overseeing regulatory compliance for the 480 hours of mandatory constitutional social service, 800 hours of professional internships, and protocols for the 5 degree completion pathways.
- Evaluation and approval of work plans and appointment letters for social service and internships
- Review and approval of thesis proposals and professional experience reports
- Integration of degree completion files for examination record processing before the Council
Student Society & Academic Representatives
Democratic representation of the student body. Holding voice and vote within the Unit Council, it organizes academic, cultural, and sporting activities while advocating for student university rights.
